Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

In our kindergarten classroom, we want every student to have a comfortable place to write. Currently, one of our center involves our students writing on a clipboard on the rug.

However, holding clipboards can be challenging for our young learners, hindering both their focus and participation.

We're hoping that by adding lap desks for our classroom, we can provide a stable and comfortable surface for writing, making it easier for them to focus and engage in their tasks.

Lap desks will be a valuable addition to our classroom, supporting our kindergarten EL learners as they develop their writing skills and engage more fully in their learning.
