This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
What can we do to make kids want to come to school? Sometimes, we need to find things that can create interest for students to have something to look forward too. What would I like to have? Robots and comfy chairs, of course!
I want my students to have the opportunity to try something new such as coding robots.
This can be a way for students to have hands-on learning with coding. Coding is becoming future of the world, this can help build interest with hands on experiences and apply it to what they can continue doing in school or even at home. I plan to do this as a STEM activity in class as well as the after school program my school offers. As for the comfy chairs, I got these with the last DonorsChoose project and they were a hit with my students! So I would like to add more to my flexible seating.
