Help me give my students comfortable seating options as we continue to navigate through the covid pandemic!! Our district is not allowing rugs or any fabric materials and my little preK learners need to feel safe and comfortable!!!
I am so excited to begin my second year as a Pre-K 4 teacher for 20 little learners this year! My school is in an urban school district on a university campus. Students come from diverse backgrounds and are ready to play and learn. All students receive free breakfast and lunch daily. These students may or may not have been in school before and need to feel the safety and develop the love of learning school offers now.
My Project
As we continue to navigate the pandemic and the many restrictions that accompany it, my Pre-K students need an inviting space to learn and play. Sitting on the cold, hard floor is sterile and uncomfortable. 4 year olds need an environment that is welcoming and warm to feel safe and happy to learn and grow. Rugs or material objects are not allowed! Vinyl seating options will enhance our classroom environment and allow students to be more engaged in their learning. Vinyl seating is easy to wipe down, clean and disinfect to keep us all safe and protected from the corona+ virus.
