This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have been teaching 6th and 8th grade ELA Resource students for only a few months. They are a great group of eager students that enjoy reading during class. This is such a great skill to have and it will benefit them for the rest of their lives. I want to provide my students with bean bags to use during reading time. I also want my students to have a cozy comfortable area so that they can fall in love with reading.
The bean bags will provide the students with a comfortable place to relax and read.
Students sometimes get tired of sitting at their desks and it's more relaxing to seat on a bean bag with a friend and read your favorite novel.
