I have a wonderful and eager to learn group of students who call our classroom their second home. Our class helpers work hard every day to keep our room beautiful and tidy. The only thing missing is a comfortable place to read and relax.
The donations to this project will help me create a cozy, reading nook that feels safe and inviting with all our books displayed on shelves, a soft carpet to sit on and plush pillows to snuggle with!
Having a cozy, visually pleasing reading area will surely make my students more eager to reach for a book and dive into the wonderful world of literacy. It will also be beneficial for students' social-emotional development as having a safe, comfortable place can allow them to relax and release their anxiety.
