My Project

As a teacher, I am always looking for ways to enhance my students' learning experience. Research shows that creating a comfortable and engaging environment can improve students' academic performance and motivation. However, traditional classroom seating arrangements can be limiting and uncomfortable for students.

To address this challenge, I am seeking support through DonorsChoose to create a flexible and eco-friendly reading lounge in my classroom.

I plan to create a reading lounge with flexible seating options that allow students to choose how they sit and read. These options include floor cushions and carpeting. By providing these options, students will have the freedom to choose their preferred reading position, which will help them engage more fully with the material.

To ensure that this project is also environmentally conscious, I am committed to purchasing eco-friendly furniture made from recycled materials. This will help students develop a sense of responsibility and concern for the environment, while also modeling sustainable practices.

By supporting this project, you will be helping to create a flexible and eco-friendly reading corner that fosters reading, creativity, and environmental awareness. Thank you for your consideration and investment in our students' academic and personal growth.
