This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our classroom needs a bookcase where the front covers of books are on display, helping young preschool students to locate books they wish to read. We are currently borrowing a bookcase, but must return it now. In addition, students need a defined space to sit at the carpet for learning and reading time, to help them focus on learning while keeping their hands and feet from touching their peers. The letters carpet will provide this space, while also providing opportunity to practice recognizing and reading letter names and sounds with this fun colorful alphabet carpet.
