Cozy Places to Rest our Bodies

My students need yoga mats so that they can have a comfortable place to rest when our program transitions into a full day program.

My Students

My students come from many different backgrounds and come to me with very different experiences. They speak many different languages and have very different educational needs. They come from different kinds of families and different living situations.

My students are coming to school for the first time.

These three to five year olds are eager to learn and engage with their peers. The best part of working with my students is that they all accept and love each other regardless of all their differences.

My Project

Our classroom will be transitioning into a full day program for the next school year. We need extra thick exercise mats with carrying straps so that our students will have somewhere to comfortably rest their bodies. Many of our students will still need to nap when they start school and having somewhere for them to rest will make it so that they can learn. Help our students be well rested so that they can grow their brains and bodies as they begin in our full day program. Students will feel more secure knowing they have their own place to rest and revive their minds before getting up to learn more!
