This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our learning environment would benefit from new carpets to provide a space for meaningful opportunities where my kindergarten students can rest, read, play, explore, and have conversations.

It increases language development and socialization, as well as cognitive learning in young children.

I would like to maximize the learning potential of each student where the environment is open, comfortable, and visually stimulating. Having space for students to explore their social and emotional skills, language skills, and cognitive skills and is a very important aspect of having a healthy and productive learning environment.
