Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our classroom is in need of some seating in our library. We would truly appreciate two bean bag chairs and a coffee table to make our library cozy and comfortable. I have also included some professional learning books and a gift card to Teachers Pay Teachers to help supplement resources in the classroom.
Creating an environment that promotes reading is essential in the classroom.
When students are exposed to books and see them every day, they are more likely to read, and the benefits of that are innumerable: better vocabularies, more motivated learners, development of creativity, empathy, and critical thinking skills…just to name a few. Your donation will create an area in the classroom where students can comfortably read a book.
