Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The supplies will allow me to continue to serve an elementary school with over 600 students. I will also be allowed to continue to utilize bright vibrant colors to enhance the learning environment where students can be themselves, loved, and supported. Creating a safe space where kids love to come and have a haven from the stressors of life, is one of my priorities. Students need that space to calmly regain self control while learning how to integrate healthy coping skills and strategies into their everyday life. Theses tools will allow me to support my students social-emotional and mental health of our wonderful Hawks. Please help my students soar with their learning, creativity, and well being.
