My Students

At my school, my three and four-year-old students are of mixed backgrounds (White, including many Polish, Spanish and African-American), and they are eager learners. They just need the tools to help them explore their world.

Many have hardworking parents who desire their children have an enriched Pre-K experience.

The students are well behaved and attentive. They are inquisitive and have a desire to learn. Words can't describe what a three/four-year-old is capable of. They are like sponges at this age! Their brains absorb everything.

My Project

My students need a cozy "couch" to sit on. This couch will go in our quiet library center. They can sit and read a book or just take some time to relax. Right now, all we have are some chairs and a mat on the floor.

This comfortable couch will motivate them to utilize our library center, read a book with a friend or just chill out!

We can also utilize this couch in our dramatic play center when they play house. It will reinforce the types of furniture we have in each room of our homes. This couch will enhance their center time!
