Cozy Corners: Building Bright Minds with Reading Nooks!

My Project

I'm starting a project for my 10th grade ESL students to create a cozy reading nook in our classroom. Many of my students come from low-income households and traumatizing background and have to sit on hard chairs all day. Since we do a lot of reading in English class, I want to give them a comfortable space to enjoy books and foster a love for reading.

I love my students' eagerness to learn and their creativity.

Each resource, like the two memory foam bean bags I'm asking for, will help them in different ways. These bean bags will provide a comfortable seating option, allowing students to relax and focus better during reading time. It will make our classroom environment more inviting and conducive to learning.

The specific items I'm requesting, the memory foam bean bags, will make a big difference in my students' learning by creating a comfortable and welcoming space for them to engage with books. My goals for this project are to enhance their reading experience, promote a love for literature, and improve their overall well-being in the classroom.

What makes my students special is their resilience and determination despite facing challenges. They inspire me every day with their hard work and positive attitudes. By providing them with a cozy reading nook, I hope to show them that their comfort and happiness are important to me, and that I believe in their potential to succeed.
