This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students deserve a space where they feel safe and where they want to be. Working in a Title I-funded school means supporting students who may not have something to go home to. Allowing them to have a class where they can have a cozy corner and the materials they need would help the environment in so many ways. It makes the day go much more smoothly when we have what we need and more. Going into my second year teaching, these are items I feel would benefit my classroom even further.
