This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In my special education classes, my students are eager to learn, but they all require their specialized programs. In our classroom we are working to create various centers where students can focus on their individual needs. One of those centers is our cozy, reading corner.
The sofa for this project will be part of the alternative seating for our reading corner.
We are looking to create a space where students can settle in with a good book in hopes of inspiring and motivating them to focus on their literacy goal.
