My Project

My AMAZING first graders need and deserve a cozy area to read and learn! Our first-grade classroom is made up of many different cultures and backgrounds. Having a rug to meet at daily will allow us to further explore each other's diversity and learn from peers. My goal is to provide students with an area where we can learn and develop our social-emotional learning. They will be provided the opportunity to discuss their feelings and problem-solve when they may be experiencing big feelings. My students will use the new carpet and reading seats to work cooperatively with their peers, problem-solve, and enhance their reading skills.
