The transition from kindergarten to first grade can be a difficult one for many students. I am hoping that the option of flexible seating will keep my energetic learners focused and ready to engage. Adding wobble chairs and flex-space comfy floor seats will allow my students to maintain their focus and concentration when sitting in non-conventional ways. With the increasing academic demands put on children, my students need movement incorporated into their instructional time in order to focus and be successful. Providing students with wobble chairs and flex-space cushions promotes excitement and makes learning more fun while also addressing the sensory needs of my diverse learners.
