This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I absolutely love my 3rd graders for their curiosity, creativity, and enthusiasm for learning. Each day, they bring unique perspectives and ideas that make our classroom a vibrant community. I want to enhance their learning environment further by creating a comfortable and inspiring space for collaboration. The cushions I’m requesting will help transform our classroom into a comfortable space where students can gather, share ideas, and engage in discussions. A comfortable seating arrangement encourages participation and helps them feel more relaxed during group activities.
The dictionaries and thesauruses will empower my students to expand their vocabulary and improve their writing skills.
With easy access to these resources, they will feel more confident in expressing themselves, which is crucial at this developmental stage. Additionally, the colorful felt-tip pens and colored pencils will ignite their creativity during art projects and writing exercises. When students have the right tools to express their thoughts visually, it fosters a love for learning and self-expression. My goal for this project is to create a welcoming and stimulating environment that promotes collaboration, creativity, and a love for learning, allowing each student to thrive academically and personally.
