My students have a great love for learning! They are a diverse group of students, who truly are accepting and kind. They thrive when exploring, and collaborating together. They are a group of students who truly work together to make a team. They support each other. They are cheerleaders for success, and encourage their fellow classmates when they need a boost!
Our school is the center of the community.
We are a Title I District located in a beautiful, rural area. We are very tight knit community; many of the residents have lived here over multiple generations. Our school is the center of the community.

My goal is to foster a love of reading.
I want my students to feel more comfortable and relaxed while reading and collaborating. What better way than creating a physical setting that aides in this. We are not only a class of students, but a class family. I want the students to feel the comforts of home right here in our classroom. This couch and chair would allow for that level of comfort.
