My Project

As a first-year teacher, I’m working hard to create a classroom that feels like a second home—a space where my students feel safe, inspired, and excited to learn every day. Right now, we’re missing some key pieces that would truly transform our room: a large classroom rug and flexible seating options.

The rug will serve as a central meeting place for read-alouds, morning meetings, and small group discussions.

Flexible seating will give my students the freedom to choose a learning space that helps them focus and feel comfortable—whether that’s a floor cushion, wobble stool, or cozy chair.

These additions will not only support student engagement and collaboration but also help me build a warm, inviting learning environment where every child feels at home. Your support would mean the world to me and my students, and would help bring our dream classroom to life!
