My Students

My students are in a General education classroom in a high-needs, Title I School. The children in my classroom are inquisitive and joyful! I absolutely love them and want them to have the best resources to thrive.

Throughout the year my students make rapid progress in their social and educational development.

However, they are in need of a more comfortable space where they can learn and feel safe. My students always love to learn. The set up of my classroom is one of the most important parts of building a community and it allows my students to thrive.

My Project

A clean and safe environment allows students to build a community. In order for them to take charge of their learning they need to feel confident in their learning environment. A clean rug would allow my students to grow by having whole class and partnership learning. Currently, my students do not have a clean rug. I am in need of a space where I can conduct community building exercises and have whole group learning!

Making sure that my students feel comfortable in order to thrive socially and educationally, they need a space where they can learn.

Every morning, I conduct morning meetings where the students can discuss their feelings! A new rug would allow them to feel more confident! Also, having a new rug will allow students to make good choices and become more engaged because they will have their own space.
