Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Social and emotional learning is a huge part of helping our students learn the skills they need to be successful humans. Part of that is having a "calming corner" ready for students who need to regulate their emotions. Beanbags provide a place for students to feel not only safe, but also comfortable. These chairs will help our students be able to read all around the classroom. We will use these chairs throughout the day for students to read in all different spaces. Students use these chairs during learning, as well as when they need a break from those around them. During these times, students should feel comfortable to come to school each day and learn. We appreciate your donation in advance and appreciate the dedication to our classroom. The supplies will help make our classroom an amazing place to be and learn.
