My Project

What is our favorite time of the day? Reading together, of course!

My students’ eyes light up when it’s time to go to the carpet and listen to me read new book.

My students also love our shared reading time. We focus on reading stamina, reading for understanding a topic, as well as just reading for fun. Students love to lay out on the rug and share books with their classmates. What better way to start the year than with a new colorful space for them read and use as flexible seating options. This rug reminds my students to be kind but also gives them a great place to get cozy!
