This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My first graders love to read. We have a beautiful collection of high quality books that we devour on a daily basis. But they also love to lounge! Sitting and practicing reading in our plastic school chairs is not special or comfortable.

Help me elevate the act of reading to something special, cozy, and fun by providing students with a variety of comfortable reading nooks from high-quality suppliers.

I know I do my best reading curled up on the couch or in bed. My students would love to curl up on a beanbag or lounge on a couch while they read as well. Help us get cozy and read!
