I work in a small town in RI with one elementary school that is 100 percent in-person this year. Social distancing has made our year challenging but I am consistently in awe of how easily my students are able to adapt to all the changes.
It is critical to provide engaging, developmentally appropriate experiences for young learners.

My Project
My students only have one place to sit in the classroom due to COVID restrictions. I would love to give them cozy sit-upons that can be used on the floor. These sit-upons are great because they are easy to clean and disperse throughout the classroom.
The cold winter months are approaching and many days we will be in our classroom for the entire day.
I would love to have a variety of materials available for my students to choose from for use during indoor recess as well as for our afternoon center time. This project includes STEM activities (blocks, tiles, kits) and art materials which are both crucial for young learners!
