This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our classroom, the library is more than just a place to find books—it's a space where students can explore their imaginations, build literacy skills, and take a moment to relax when they need it. For some students, particularly those with special needs or those who feel overwhelmed, having a quiet and comfortable spot can make all the difference.

By adding two beanbags to our library, I hope to create a cozy, calming corner where students can curl up with a book or take a short break to reset and refocus.

These beanbags will provide a soft, inviting space that helps students feel safe and supported while fostering a love for reading.

Many of my students benefit from having a designated area where they can recharge. Beanbags will not only enhance our library but also give students the chance to regulate their emotions, reduce stress, and return to learning with a clear mind. A calm and welcoming environment can make a world of difference in their academic success and overall well-being.

We are requesting two high-quality, durable beanbags to transform our classroom library into a more comfortable and student-friendly space.

With your help, this project will encourage students to develop their reading skills in a cozy setting and provide a calm space for those who need it most. Your generosity will help create an environment where every student feels valued, supported, and ready to thrive.
