This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At our school, we have three Junior High sports teams: Volleyball, Basketball, and Soccer. To better prepare our student athletes for the upcoming seasons we need some better training equipment.

In order to be ready for our upcoming volleyball season, our boys and girls volleyball team needs their own volleyballs and kneepads.

Volleyball is without a doubt a great team sport that requires quickness and hand-eye coordination. Volleyball does not only benefit you physically, it also a great way to make new friends and develop your interpersonal skills because it requires cooperation and teamwork. While these carts may not directly improve our student athletes’ performance on the court, they are a necessary item that allow our coaches to be more efficient with practice time because we can focus on drills and not have to constantly chase after loose volleyballs.
