Covid Won't Stop Us From Succeeding in Math and Reading!
Help me give my students the Flagship Carpets Smiley Seating rug, Clark the Shark Loves Christmas book, The Giving Tree book, other leveled books, and Saxon Math folders to improve their reading and math levels.

My Project
My students are unique and special because they are self-aware and can articulate learning challenges and successes. They are resilient and able to recover from difficult situations such as being quarantined due to Covid-19.
When the students were allowed to come back to school, they had missed out on social interactions with their peers and teachers.
They also had lack of instruction with a teacher on a daily basis. These hindrances also affected their reading and math levels. For example, some kids will say, "I can't read." They truly feel like they aren't capable because they missed so much school. Confidence and self-esteem are lacking with these children. I want them to believe in themselves like I do.
My Parents Think I'm Sleeping, George Washington and the General's Dog, Marley: Messy Dog, Dragons Love Tacos, and the other leveled reading books will help my students enjoy reading and improve their reading level. My students need these particular books because there are a variety of levels. Each kid will be able to read books on their performance level. I want all kids to have books they can read independently and feel good about themselves. My students will increase their level of reading because they have the materials and books to become stronger readers.
The students would benefit from having the Flagship Carpets Smiley Seating rug so they would have a nice, cozy place to read their new books. They can read independently, with partners, or small groups on the rug.
I am also asking for Saxon Math folders. These folders will help my students tremendously because they teach number placement, geometric solids, abbreviations, months, days of the week, measurement, angles, etc. Since these kids have not had a regular school year since kindergarten, they need these folders to refer to daily.
