This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My school is made up of a very diverse population. As a Title 1 school, many of the children that I have worked with face hardships at a very young age. After 3 years of teaching, I have seen the hunger that all of my students have for learning despite these hardships. They always strive to learn with what they have and that's what makes every single one of them very special! Their passion for learning is restless and admirable. For that, they deserve to have all the materials they need to empower their minds through their education.
My Project
This iPad will facilitate the process of an online instruction approach as we learn to navigate through this pandemic and its effects on the education of our students. The iPad will help me deliver meaningful, online instruction to a safe home and will help me stay connected to the needs of my students this 2020-2021 school year. Whether at home or in school, my students deserve the highest quality of instruction, and aside from the uncertainty of these times, learning should never be complicated.
