This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school is ranked as a high poverty school with 99% of our students qualifying for free or reduced-price lunch. Most of our kids come from single-parent or severely dysfunctional homes. Keeping students excited about staying active is very challenging given their difficult home lives. Moreover, it is more difficult due to the lack of equipment for our students on our campus.

We offer sports such as flag football, soccer, basketball, softball.

The problem is that we never have the equipment. Kids normally have to share them or go without the use of proper equipment.

My Project

Please help our soccer and football teams build and develop skills in a safe and covid free environment. With this equipment, we will be able to do many drills with our soccer and football teams. While being able to not only safely space our kids apart but sanitize very easily for multiple uses. Having equipment that we can not only use for multiple sports but be able to clean is needed for the continuance and development of our soccer and football programs. With this equipment, it will help us maintain safety protocol allowing the kids to still be able able to play. Thank you in advance for your donations.
