My Students
The students I serve are Freshmen entering High school for the first time. Due to these unprecedented times, their first year is a lot different from what they expected. All of my students attend a Title I school located in a low socio-economic demographic area stricken by poverty and crime. Many of them receive services to assist them with mild/moderate learning disabilities. Despite all of the challenges they are facing, I tell them every day, their environment and disability DO NOT define them or what they will become. They are all destined to be great.
My Project
Hello, DonordChoose Community! Coronavirus has affected our nation since the beginning of 2020. It is now 2022 and we are still fighting this dreadful virus and its variants. It is imperative to the learning environment to protect everyone. All of our scholars and staff are at risk for this virus and the best protection is prevention.
Prevention is key!
PPE equipment will help myself and my students fight this virus by keeping their faces covered, hands sanitized, as well as, desks, doorknobs, and surfaces sanitized.
Our scholars need to be here at school and we cannot risk anyone catching and becoming sick from this virus. Help us fight it until May with these supplies.
