COVID Classroom Supplies

My Students

My classroom is composed of very inquisitive sixth graders in a highly gifted program, many of whom have not often dealt with failure or developed their ability to persevere through challenges. They are working to develop perseverance and flexible thinking.

My students have a voracious desire for answers to their questions and love to discover new information.

They are an inquisitive group that is​ learning to take responsible risks and to step outside of their comfort zones. My students tackle a number of project-based studies throughout the year that require them to budget their time, learn to work with others, and overcome obstacles.

My Project

Our classroom will look different when students return. Each student will need their own supplies versus sharing classroom supplies. These materials will help make sure all of our students have what they need to succeed in learning in the classroom.

Students will be wearing masks all day, which can be hard on student's ears.

Help us relieve the pressure by giving our students mask straps. They will help keep masks tight against the face while also spreading the pressure across the back of students' heads.

We also want to make sure that all students feel safe in the classroom and have sanitation supplies close at hand. We will use the bottles to provide hand sanitizer at every student's desk.
