COVID-19 Won't Get Us Down: Quaranteaching and Safe Learning
Help me give my students items to help with social distancing. I need storage items to help manage my students supplies is an organized and safe manner, that will keep them healthy and safe.
I have 24 charismatic 4, 5, and 6-year-olds. They love to sing and dance and are very curious! My students vary not only in age but also socioeconomically. I have students who are English Language Learners and who have IEPs (Individualized Education Program). I have students who have been to pre-school and are reading, and I also have students who never attended school before and this is their first experience. My school is a large school with over 800 students, Kindergarten to fifth grade. We are a large urban school district.

How is my classroom NOT affected by the Coronavirus! Because of this pandemic, I need to make adjustments for social distancing within my classroom.
Things are different now.
I need to think and run my classroom differently. We used to have community supplies. It is no longer safe or hygienic to share. In my classroom storage is limited. Because this is kindergarten, and the children are very young, I need to make storing of their supplies as easy and accessible as possible for them. I need to have a place for each child’s supplies. I need pocket storage for their chairs, extra cubbies, and materials for them to use independently.
