My Project

As we navigate the challenges posed by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, our community is facing unprecedented obstacles, particularly in our science and math classes. The emotional and mental well-being of our students has taken a toll, and we are reaching out to you for support.

The pandemic has disrupted traditional learning environments, creating a need for innovative approaches to support our students.

The lockdowns, social distancing, and the shift to virtual learning have deprived our students of the engaging, hands-on experiences crucial for a comprehensive education in science and math.

To address these challenges and uplift our students, we are initiating a fundraising campaign aimed at acquiring essential supplies that will not only enhance the educational experience but also contribute significantly to the emotional and mental well-being of our students.

Here are some ideas for items that we believe will make a positive impact on our students. Hands-on materials and interactive learning tools can bring abstract concepts to life. Models, manipulatives, and experiments can make science and math classes more engaging and enjoyable. Digital Microscopes will help us break up the monotony of book learning and get students engaged with hands on learning.

We plan to implement silent fidget devices to help students who have a hard time calming down their mental chatter and emotions. These tools will not disrupt class but offer students relief. Students are easily distracted by poor writing utensils and the constant needs for sharpening dull writing instruments. Including mechanical pencils will offer our students less interruptions in their classroom learning.
