This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Poverty affects my students. One hundred percent of our students are eligible for free or reduced-price lunch. Although some children have many challenges in their lives, they are resilient and capable. My kindergartners are enthusiastic, thriving when they are actively involved through my use of hands-on activities. The classroom is their learning lab to discover, experiment, and practice their skills. At home, some do not have adequate educational resources, so they should have them at school. Working side by side with my students brings me joy and it brings them pride. Our classroom family works hard to achieve our scholastic goals, and your help in this process is appreciated very much.
My Project
Going back to school in September will be a challenge due to Covid-19.
Keeping our classroom continuously clean while keeping it child-friendly and comfortable is a top priority.
With these durable, easy to clean cushions, I will be able to wipe down student seating easily and often to disinfect. This will help in preventing the spread of germs. Please help me keep my students safe and comfortable with these colorful cushions. Help parents feel more secure by helping me to create a healthy, cozy and clean learning environment for their children. We are Covid-19 conscientious and caring.
