My Students
Our classroom is struggling to maintain the same level of engagement as we had in our regular classroom. I am currently trying to build more consistent effort and participation in our learning activities through daily google meet video chats. During this time, my students need materials to use for our activities and they do not have them at home. Besides the Chromebook given to them from the school district, they need paper, pencils, etc.
As a teacher during this time, I'm striving to bring every material, resource, etc to keep my students learning now and throughout the summer months.
My students use the Google classroom platform connected with other digital resources to keep learning. It is my hope that with extra resources at their finger tips, they will continue to rise during this time and continue learning.
My Project
These materials will make a tremendous difference in my students' learning from home as many struggle during this time to be able to get materials. Many parents are out of work and are struggling to pay bills. With these materials, I am able to provide the tools my students need to continue their learning.
Distance learning is a new frontier that unfortunately, my students are struggling with.
With these materials, it is my hope to be able to reach every student in my classes and provide them with needed materials to allow them to continue learning. Also, I can't wait to see the smile on my students' faces when they hear that donors like you continue to support their learning, even now during a time of uncertainty.
