My Project
My military-connected students are highly transitional. They hardly feel like they belong in a place or want to try to build relationships at each new school. I'd like to create an environment that is welcoming to my students. They need to feel like they have a place and are welcomed for who they are--no matter at what point of the school year they come into my computer science room.
Computer covers and organizational bins will help my military-connected students feel a sense of welcome and belonging.
The covers will liven up the room and give it a more "homey" feel instead of an institutional feeling. Having organizational containers will give my students "their space" to store their projects without worrying that the project may become damaged when they are not in my classroom.
