I am requesting the opportunity to attend a professional development conference in the area of Maker Spaces. This conference will allow me to gain strategies and ideas for creating a robust curriculum that I can implement in my classroom. I am confident that the knowledge I will gain from this conference will help me to become an effective Maker Space teacher. The knowledge I will attain from this experience will benefit my students for years to come. The knowledge gained from this unique experience will directly impact the success of my students. Many of my students' are inquisitive and want to explore different concepts. This conference will allow me to develop lessons and units to integrate with core content (math, English, social studies, and science) instruction. The Maker Space room will become more than just a play and tinker with cool machines and technology. Instead I will be able to bring STEM and STEAM projects to fruition. Your generous donation will directly impact my students.
