This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

All my students are eager to learn and they want to use technology within the classroom. They appreciate everything and anything that is given to them or shared. My classroom is a diverse group of students who have challenges and gifts to share with the world. There are more than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households. We use a variety of tools to ensure the students are learning to their full potentials. Each student learns at different paces and learning levels, so we use a variety of tools to help each student as an individual.

My Project

The Folio cases will help us keep the iPads in good working condition longer, then without. We have iPads but we do not have covers on them so students can not work independently with them as of now. Students will be able to independently work without an adult supervising every move.

We are moving more into technology and this will be a great first step into this transition.We use the I-ready program for reading so we could use this in small groups.

We also use Core 5 Reading so students could work independently in the classroom. Our Bridges Math program also has apps that our students could benefit from. There are also apps that they could work on learned words and fun activities to learn to read and write these words.
