My Students

My fifth grade students are on their last stop in their elementary school career. Teaching them greater responsibility and accountability is an important part of this year. It is essential that they leave here equipped to succeed in a much larger and more demanding educational setting Our classroom has many opportunities for students to take charge of their learning and to have ownership in what takes place. My goal is that they will leave my classroom confident and prepared for what lies ahead.

My Project

We use Chromebooks to access content for our literacy program as well as Science and Social Studies. Student often need headphones to work without disturbing others around them. We have one small set that is not sufficient for our classroom. I have tried cheap earbuds, but they do not last and are unsanitary.

Headphones would be an enormous help in our classroom at this time.

Additionally, splitters will help us to stretch resources by enabling students to work in pairs on the Chromebooks or when using other resources such as SD books.
