My Students
I teach at a PreK through 8th grade, Title I school in Virginia. Our school serves a very diverse population which includes a high military population, immigrants, a high Hispanic population, French students who are enrolled in the NATO program, a high transient population, and I could go on and on.
Our PreK students in particular were chosen for our PreK program because they and their families were going through many hardships and these students are considered "at-risk students."
My Project
All materials ordered for this project will be used for my students' virtual learning. These number boards and crayons will be used to help my students with counting, number recognition, creating patterns, pattern recognition, and pattern extension.
My students are in desperate need of materials and manipulatives to help them with remote learning.
Children learn best through play and hands-on learning and their learning should be fun. Please help me to supply my students with these number boards and crayons. This will aid in keeping my students engaged and enhance their learning. Thank you in advance.
