My Students

In my school, I never go through a day without a student's big smile and a happy wave. My students come from a high poverty area where resources are stretched thin. We are a Title I school where 83% of my students receive free or reduced-price lunch.

Often, my students struggle in school and really deserve the supplies they need to meet the standards they will eventually be tested on.

They are all visual learners and need concrete examples to help them understand and comprehend the skills they are learning.

My Project

My students need 3 sets of the ice cream scoop counting to ten Lakeshore game. I like to put my students in groups of 3 to work and this will ensure that they each get enough materials to practice with. The scoop will provide a fun and hands on way for them to count and work. We are also asking for 3 sets of the nuts and bolts counting to ten game. This game will have a big focus for my students on counting of course, but also on fine motor skill development.
