it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
By donating to our project you will not only help to improve and increase the number sense of our students, it will allow them to have fun. Counting collections offer them hands on connection with math.
We are a CGI school, which is a student-centered approach to teaching students math.
It starts with what the students already know and builds on their natural number sense and intuitive approaches to problem solving.
With your amazing donations we will be able to explore different ways to engage students abilities to solve problems in many different ways. They will be prepared to share their thinking. Students will work together in groups to discover new ways to increase their number awareness.
