This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students come from different backgrounds. My students are diverse learners who strive to be inclusive in their daily interactions. They are hard working, inquisitive and love to learn everyday.

The various math counters I am requesting will allow my students to have fun items to count in our counting collections.

With counting collections student strengthen number sense skills. They also show their creative ways of counting. Showing that there is no one way that is correct to count. They explore and investigate different ways of organizing items to be counted.
