Help me give my students a full year of counseling curriculum to support my first year of teaching social emotional learning and coping skills! I would also use this toward counselor monthly newsletters to promote parental involvement!
Investing in a comprehensive counseling curriculum with a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will greatly enhance social-emotional learning (SEL) for our elementary students by providing structured, age-appropriate lessons that build critical life skills such as empathy, self-awareness, responsible decision-making, and conflict resolution. These foundational skills support academic success and positive behavior while helping students manage their emotions and relationships effectively. In addition, part of the donations will be used to create a monthly newsletter template from the school counselor, designed to keep families informed and engaged with SEL topics, classroom guidance lessons, and helpful tips for supporting children at home. This consistent communication fosters a strong school-home connection and empowers parents to be active partners in their child’s emotional development. I will use this curriculum by the Music city counselor on Teachers Pay Teachers for years to come!
