This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our elementary school, students are learning not just reading and math, but also how to be kind, confident, and connected friends. As the school psychologist, I support children in developing essential social skills like empathy, problem-solving, teamwork, and emotional expression. This project will bring engaging, play-based tools including social skills board games, conversation cards, and feelings activities into our Counseling Corner. These resources will help students practice friendship-building in a fun, safe, and supportive environment. With your help, we can empower little minds to shine both in and out of the classroom!
