The students were absolutely thrilled to use the new materials from the moment they arrived! From the engaging books to the helpful fidgets, each item quickly became a part of our daily routine. It's been incredible to watch students light up with excitement and curiosity, using tools that support their learning and well-being in meaningful ways.\r\n\r\nWhat touched me most is how students who have moved on from needing my regular support still stop by just to say hello and to reconnect with the items they loved most. I have used the floor tiles to help students take a break and jump around in my office. The students enjoy all of the different colors and what it looks like visually under their feet. I set a timer and they get to play different games while using them. \r\nI have used all of the different games on a daily basis to engage with children and help them feel more comfortable and open to talk about their feelings. The favorite item so far has been the buddha board. It has been so fun watching students reactions to using it and then getting into the motions of drawing which turns into a coping skill. I can literally see the calmness come over their bodies. \r\nLastly, the workbook has been so useful and a wonderful supplement to my lessons with students.\r\nI am so appreciative of everything that was donated to my counseling program.
