Each year, the school counseling classroom offers individual and group counseling services, which are available to all of the students in my school. It is so wonderful to have so many students cross my path each year, whether it be once or for consistent counseling services throughout their elementary years! In seeing so many awesome students, each year, there are basic supplies in my office/classroom that need to be revamped and replenished in order to keep my students interested and offer my students the most appropriate social/emotional support possible.
I am requesting a marble run which is a calming game that my students can play in counseling.
I am also requesting coloring books, inspirational quotes, and a timer to support my students during their sessions and help calm them down and help them to get back into class where they can learn.
