This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My third graders attend a public school in an urban district. It is a Title I school, and 100% of the students qualify for a free or reduced-price lunch. Coming from an urban district and a Title I school, unfortunately, my students do not have as many supplies and opportunities as students in the surrounding districts.

This year, I have 25 inquisitive and eager students, many of whom are not on grade level.

They include English Language Learners and LTSS students, but they are always ready to learn. My students are full of energy, and their creativity shines through in all of the work that they do. They soak up everything you put out.

My goal is to make their school experience meaningful and fun while also setting high expectations and providing a safe, loving environment for all of my students, no matter their circumstances. Your donations mean more than you will ever fully understand!

My Project

I am asking for cleaning supplies to provide my students with a clean room to do their best work and feel celebrated. A clean and healthy learning environment is very important to a successful school year. Too many of my students miss school because of illness. With all of the hysteria surrounding the latest COVID-19 virus on top of day to day germs these supplies are more important then ever. With the cleaning supplies, we will be cleaning our desks, chairs, doorknobs, computer mice and manipulatives. By cleaning our space, we can minimize the amount of germs we spread and teach the students about not only personal hygiene but taking care of your environment. These cleaning supplies will help us daily to keep up with a germ free classroom.

I want to continue to provide a safe and healthy learning environment and do everything in my power to keep all of the germs and such from invading our space.

With the constant hand washing the paper towels and soap will come in handy. The oils will allow us to support our immune systems. I want the kids to have fun, be kids and know they have someone that wants them both HAPPY and HEALTHY!
