Help me give my students the resources needed to improve the recycling program by providing high quality materials for collecting and storing materials.
What I love about middle school students is their natural curiosity and eagerness to make a difference. The recycling club is trying to increase environmental responsibility and sustainability among students by securing materials to create a more efficient and organized recycling program.
The recycling club would like to purchase essential items such as recycling bins, lids, a lockable ball cart for storing the bins, tarps to protect the bins, bungees to secure the tarps, and a lock to prevent theft.
With this grant, our school can have a more coordinated and secure system for collecting and managing recyclables, ensuring that the program is both effective and sustainable. This effort gives students hands-on experience in environmental stewardship, reinforcing the lessons they learn in their science classes about human impact on the environment.
